First place in Henri Lloyd Race! And first over all (again!!) Tarantella succeeded in winning the 6:th race in a row this year. Jyrki Santaholma's Merinna finished second and Tom Finell's FortinaFun third in class IMS3. The wind was rather weak, and shifted back and forth. At the start the direction was from east, but turned gradually to south. The course went from Lauttasaari to the east past Santahamina, and east of Isosari to Helsinki Lighthouse, and back to Lauttasaari. The distance was 30,3 nm.

Our start was miserable, but south of Santahamina we succeeded in being in the right position closer to Isosaari when the wind shifted to south-east, and got a reach to the Jänissaari buoy. Fortina Fun and some other of our competitors sailed close to Santahamina, and got the shift later. The wind shift was expected, so our strategy to keep to the south was correct.

At Jänissaari Averell Dalton, a Platu 25 rounded  first, Merinna second and Tarantella third, just 1 min 10 sec. after Averell Dalton and 30 sec. after Merinna. Fortina Fun rounded 3 min 10 sec. behind us. On the way to Helsinki Lighthouse we bypassed Averell Dalton. Merinna rounded first,  one minute before us.  Fortina Fun was here  5 min 50 sec. behind.

On the running leg to the finish we bypassed Merinna. We followed the run VMG angles in our scratch sheet and added another 5 minutes to Fortina Fun in the finish.

First place in IMS 3 in the IMS ranking is more or less clear for Tarantella now.

Syysseilaus 16.9 still remains.
