The covers have come off! Again! Two men and two hours, this time.
Our Lady's new and definitely improved homeport in Kantvik has been dredged and equiped with fantastic new pontoons. 23.5. Preparing the mast. Flooding- and pumptest in progress... We suggest that you always check for leaks as you put the boat into water... Or at least have your pumps ready.
We decided to try out two masts this season... ...but it didn't turn out just right, so the old mast is back in business 25.5. Testing the new genua off Lauttasaari in light conditions
The sails looks marvelous, even in very light wind and on a badly trimmed mast.
Up in the air the CarboCuben-"sailcloth" is like a wing - no stretch, perfect body -, but ones on deck it becomes more or less difficult to handle as the material is quite tough.
